well i drag my grand prix gxp wanna put some drag radials think im gunna go to a 17" rim for some gearing... but my question is will a 275x40xr17 fit on the grand prix gxp? thanks your input is appreciated.

Well, I'm running 275/40/18s as dailies, I don't see why 275/40/17 radials wouldn't fit.

Yeah, a few of us have been running 275/40s for a while. Not radials, just normal street tires. Someone ran radials but I can't remember how to spell his name, and I don't think he gets on often anymore.

Thanks for the info ... I'm gunna have to run a 17" for some gearing and those radials should stick nicely thanks again bro

Stock up front is 18x8 and rear is 18x7. Most 17" will fit, my winter rims are 17".

Fronts are 18x8 IIRC for the GXP's.

no you dont, just get the tire it will fit on there. thats the recomended rim size, dosent mean you HAVE to haved a 9inch rim.
