Something to do with the wheels spinning at different speeds so it kills power, I think. I don't quite understand it either. All I know is it pisses me off when I'm launching halfway hard, I hit 35 and all my power's gone and I'm doing 10-15, got a 3.1 60' from it before. Only done it once at autocross and a couple of times in the rain.

Still does it with Stability Control off, it's a differential fail-safe from what I understand. I always turn off T/C and S/C when at the strip and autocross. I can spin them all day, too, but if one gets out-of-sync, I assume, anti-score kicks in.
EDIT: I don't have a stock tune, my torque management is lowered, among other things. Going to get another more aggressive tune, soon, then I'm gonna bottle-feed the car and get another tune. Then the cam and other internal work, then a long haul 'til the turbo. As light as this thing will be with the power it will have, it better see low 10s at worst.
But time will tell.

2008, weighs in the 3200s at the moment, about to go down more when I put my single Borla exhaust on, instead of dual Magnaflow.
Looking for a new steering wheel, too. I want real paddles.
