I can't wait for the headers and trans tuning. Money is going to be tight for awhile...

I think with a 6200 shift I'll trap 107-108 and knock off .2
My camshaft was spec'd for headers so I'm guessing I'll make some pretty good gains.

Goal is 12.7's @110 with street tires in street trim. I will never gut this car!

I've got 200 or so more pounds on the Monte's. Takes much more power to keep up.

The early shift was killing my time. If you guys could only ride with me you'd be shocked. Pulls very.. very.. hard above 4500. Drops to about 4100-4200 after shifting.

3.29's would be killer but I'd need drag radials or slicks.

I have the 3.29 gears in my Monte SS and it is definately faster 0-60 and 1/4 time. Second gear really pushes my car now.

Also, Dave check your private messages I am interested in buying your Predator.

Lew just made another tweak so I will be tap shifting at 6200-6500. New rev limiter set to 6800!

I was just going threw my time slips and comparing my current mods to stock. Looking at the 1/8 mile ET and MPH only. I went from 9.030@77.87 (before mods) to 8.780@85.54. Mph gain is huge!

Keep in mind the trans was shifting out of 1st early with my new build/latest runs

I data logged all 4 of my latest runs and have noticed that the 1st-2nd shift rpm varried... In Drive.

2nd log/run reviled a shift of 5993rpm wich netted 85.54mph
4rd log/run reviled a shift of 5972 wich netted a 84.65mph

Air temp and engine temps were low during all 4 runs and I always stage deep.

A difference of 40-50rpm showed a gain of .89mph! I am now shiffting at 6500 wich allows the engine to fall back into it's tq curve and accelerate much quicker.
