Default Tranny fluid in the coolant reservoir

Well I was changing my oil today and I usually check out all other fluids to make sure they are at the right levels and whatnot. So I check my coolant tank and it looks a little funky...at first I thought it had a brownish color and thought "oh **** I have oil in there." But a closer look reveals it has a reddish tint to it and it is definitely not oil. I'm thinking it's tranny fluid.

So, I check my tranny fluid and it looks great...nice and red and at the correct level. I changed my fluid out 20,000 miles ago too. My tranny is original/stock and shifts like a champ.

So, I'm thinking the OEM cooler inside the radiator is just starting to leak which is why I have a reddish tint developing in my coolant tank. I did not notice it the last time I checked fluids.

Has anyone experienced this? Am I on the right track thinking it's the radiator? Any helpful info/advice is much appreciated

the trans fluid would separate from the dexcool, sit on top of it actually, the bottles usually arent very pretty looking anyway......if theres no separation, then youre fine
