New SS owner I recelty purchased an 08 Impala SS, been a mustang guy for many years. Alsmost bought one but opted for the Impala. Kids ruin everything lol.
So Im wanting to make it sound good. I have heard some exhaust clips on you tube, but there isnt a whole lot imo. I do have res cut out. And I did see a clip of someones SS that had a single dynomax bullet and a dual out. And it sounded pretty good to me. So my question is, would going to a single muffler hurt or better performance or MPG's versus staying with dual mufflers? And sound wise, would 2 make a diff versus a single muffler? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry no pics, not sure how to do that yet. Ill try to get some on here though. Its a Blk 08 SS loaded had 45k on it and gave around 18 i think. It was a certified so I have the 5yr/100k pwr train wrnty and bumper to bumper for a yr r so I believe.

The GXP's and Monte SS have the LS4 like the ImpalaSS right?? So I can go on youttube and listen to those cars too and get more options for the exhaust sound im lookingfor? Sorry if these sound like dumb questions, but this is the first Chevy I've owned. I have been a Mustang guy. And what about a single muffler versus keeping the dual mufflers?
