Hi FLow CATS?

I was wondering if the high flow cats for these cars make any diff. in performace or MPG's?? I would like to go go catless, loved the sound on my 04 Mustang GT, but I also was able to purchase MIL eliminators, nothing like that for this car. I have to be able to pass emissions.

Stock cat is fairly high flow.

I had some on my 07 Magnum R/T and it gained about 10whp and gave it a little more raspy sound. I liked them! I am wondering if they are worth it on our vehicles?

From my understanding, these vehicles' exhaust is highly restricted as far as sound and performance. What really does it is the stock exhaust manifolds. They really cut down on the performance.

The stock manifolds are fine till you get a cam its the down pipe thats the issue.

So we should get different down pipes for our cars?? Is that what im hearing? Would the down pipe make more sound and improve performance and MPG's??

And what is "fairly??" is it worth it to throw some highflow cats on or just keep the stock ones and go with the down pipe? As someone else said that is the restrictive part.
