Default got my new aeroforce interceptor gauges in

got my new aeroforce interceptor gauges in,

the bad,

i ordered a zzp a pillar with the pods, it dose the job but very un impressed. It had black marks on it so i had to clean it up before it even went on. It is warped on the bottom side by the door and there is a huge gap on the top of the pillar where it meets the roof. still trying to figure out how im gonna fix that.

the good, i scored the gauges of a member and they kick ***, you can manually turn the fans of witch is great for the track and they will display just about anything that the computer can read gotta say i love em and now i have an oil pressure gauge

pics kinda suck the iphones camera has its limitations

no boost but it will work with the boost, you cant keep em on while dyno tuning as they get the data from the obd II port, i guess if you where just making straight dyno pulls but thats kinda pointless imo

You can if you buy a whole new unit. They come in red, blue, green, and white.

you can only invert the color scheme you have, so you can only switch the back round color with the fore ground color

there is one for sale in the main ls1tech classified section btw

CN or PT?

ZZP points out that the 07+ Grand Prix V8's are CN..
97-07 Grand Prixs are PT..

What about 05-06 V8's?!?

Very nice I like it. But really what is the iPhone good for? Just kidding. Did I read this right you can turn the fans on with the gauges? I like that idea.

I was wondering the same thing. My guess would be the CN version though.

correct, mine is a 06 and it uses the cann buss system

kinda a pointless vid but it shows the functionality of manually controlling the fans. when it pops up and says "hit any key to exit" the fans are on hitting any button will shut them off only draw back is you cant see the data while the fan switch is on, fwiw you can also wire in a aftermarket relay and manually control something additional -----was quite pleased to get some numbers from my fender well intake 20 min drive home in heavy stop and go freeway traffic the temp outside was 89 and the air coming in to the motor was a solid 104 the whole way home

I love mine. How long can you run the fan with the switch in the on position before it affects the battery's cranking ability? Useful information to have on track days.

So I've been reading the posts on theses gauges & a I have 1 question. Does it sources its power from the OBD2 or does it have to have a dedicated.12 volt source? BTW....I have am 08 GXP.

It gets its power from the OBD2 port. It should be in the instructions. You'll love it.
