i can vouch as i have seen jp so do crazy **** and push his car to ultimate limit. and i had jp's three wheeling pic for back ground for a few days because its just badass.
and i really dont see why im getting so much **** for asking a question. i was just wondering if anyone tried it and if it would work , it was just a thought. and if i was to try it and my tranny gave out i could care less... just go to the dealer and get another one

I definitely don't push it to the limit... I do push it, though. There was that time I three wheeled at ~90 getting on the interstate, that was a little scary...
Just try it and see. Do an anti-brake stand, lock the E-brake, ease into at first to see what it'll do, then go to your heart's content, it's your car, and you'll have to explain to the dealership what happened.

It won't work.
Reverse is geared lower - it will push especially since the rear is light
Weight transfer is going to make it very hard to NOT get traction and again push the rear.

Anyone remember the thread on the Gixxer forum about the guy that put NOS energy drink into his tank, thinking it was NOS Octane Booster? And *that* was accidental stupidity; this, on the other hand...
GXP-Miller-GXP, thread 2: "Tried Reverse Burnout. Trans Broke. Warranty?" -- If that happens, I can see 'Tech getting trolled to death for a few days.
Just please, do your burnouts in Drive; Spare us, the dealership and your transmission.

it works, my 2002 suburban doesnt allow you to do burnouts in a forward gear becuase of all the B.S computers so in the school parken lot id find one of those concrete blocks put her in reverse and let it smoke them.

a 2002 Suburban has about as many computers as my vape... you can do a burnout in a Suburban your just not doing it right. Just disable traction control and if you can... stability control... put it in 2wd, and be done with it.
