Impala SS Haven't really posted on here but I thought I would throw out some pics of my ride. It's an '08. Little over 49K miles. No sunroof or bose, kinda the base SS. Grey interior. Love the car to death. Kinda boring on the inside, but hey it's an Impala! Haha. I wish they put strut tower braces on these cars from the factory, I mean the Malibu SS got one. Been a really great car so far, owned it since 38K and picked it up from the Chevy dealer I work at, as a Ally lease turn in from an older couple. Trans is still going strong! Knock on wood! Looking to throw a 3" DP in later this summer as well as add some darker tint. Anyways, lots of nice LS4's on here! If anyone is from the Fort Wayne, IN area hit me up let me know what goes on. I dunno where the car hang outs are anymore.

Benefits of working in a body shop. I prepped all the lenses and my painter buddy shot them with a black/clear mix single stage. I think 3 coats did them. 2nd coat was too light and when he laid the 3rd on there, I gave him a big thumbs up in the booth. Wetsanded with 3000 and buffed, turned out great. Visibility is still good. Tails you can still easily see during the day. Nighttime on the headlamps is good too, but I run my foglights also. Probably would benefit from an HID setup or at least Silverstar Ultra's.

I too have an 08 ss same exact car but I cut off the mufflers and down piped it. I also bought super chips flashpaq for it I seemed to have lost a little low end but gained some high end does anyone know if this could be a back presure issue or am I just trippin out?
