Anyone else have a "noisy" trans?

"The noise is only happening (audible anyways) when coasting in 3rd or 4th gear. I messed around with the TapShift and discovered it that way. Still goes away in neutral, and also when I downshift to 2nd. But I go between third or fourth, it doesn't change pitch or go away during the shift, it is solid all the way through.
Also, if I shift from Neutral to Drive, or from 2nd to 3rd, it doesn't start until I feather the pedal a little, maybe up to 1500 rpms, then when it drops back own the noise will start to become audible again. "
I posted that on another site. I have been having this issue for months. I asked a dealership to look at it, they told me it would go away when I changed my brakes, obviously it did not. I don't want to bring it back to that dealership since it seems like they were kind of lazy (only looked at half the things I asked them to look at, all warranty work). Is there any way to test the converter? I could go in to the dealership and ask them to do that.
