Decided to port the rear ls4 manifold cause the ls7 on the firewall side has clearence issues. Chopping up the ls7 would yealed lil gains. The rear ls4 manifold is being modified and ported. Hopefully some more pics go up soon :-)

Well project is done and I'm still unable to upload pics with my android or ps3 lol.

The car pulls real nice and a lot smoother all the way upto 120km (which is all I dare within city limits). Increase in torque on my first run was night and day.

Though you could probly see alil more gains from a thorly set I'm really happy with this setup. Next I'm going to check around for some custom bent ac lines.

I'm pretty much done modifying this car. Besides the k&n kit I've been to lazy to Install. I've gone as far as I would want to mod it as a daily driver.

I am glad to here you didn't lose a bunch of torque down low.

I am running the LS7 manifolds on the LS4/F40 6 speed manual transmission swap for my Fiero, but I haven't started it up yet.

There is 1 guy running the LS7 manifolds with the 4T65e-HD, but it is in the back of a fiero (and it is a L92 base 427 with some LS4 accessories). He used an wedge to angle the rear manifold enough to clear the transmission, but I do not know if there would be room to do that in a FWD application.

Yea it was decided after porting and using the orig ls4 that eventually a custom rear header would be made. The wedge would've been awesome if I thought of it lol

The rear subframe was in the way where the LS7 manifold would dump. We could have blocked it off and cut a hole in the back of the LS7 manifold at an angle to punch a hole through every runner but then it would flow like *** and create hot spots on the first passenger side runner. Will be much better to custom fab a rear manifold and run two 3" pipes back to the Y right before the gas tank. We did one 3" pipe for now. Might just cut up the stock manifold so the front manifold doesn't dump into the rear one.

Yeah, get the rear manifold off of there. I would like to see true dauls so if you can make it happen, do it!

Im having my Intake manifold ported aswell by grip and I believe he picked up a big project so swapping out the ported stock ls4 rear will have to wait for a awhile. Just long enough to save some more money lol
