honestly it wouldn't be that hard, I would just have to get some sort of mold made up for the fiberglass, and have the angles for the hoses set up a little better...

I'm impressed with how well the air flows through that hose, I was worried the ridges would slow it down a bunch.

If you can get the hoses without being baffled, it will help a lot. Also it looks really cool! Im redoing my intake now but its going to be a ram air intake.

So I decided to not wait and do the second intake today, I chose to change the mounting bracket around as it was causing the upper hose on the right to be crimped slightly..

I now realize the K&N CAI really wasn't living up to its potential.. when coasting (no throttle) I would get 4L/100 km, now I get 2L/100 km (thats 58mpg to 117mpg) On the highway I would get 8L/100km and now it dances between 6&7L/100km ( 29mpg to 39/33 mpg)!!!

Nice! I'm loving this mod. Let us know how it does in rain, or if it is even effected. That's the only thing that really has me worried. I don't want to be driving in a torrential downpoar sucking up water through those hoses.

just wanted to give a little update, before I put the scoops in I was getting 16.5ish L/100km (14.25mpg) overall average, It has since dropped to 14.8L/100km (15.89mpg) AVG pretty good overall, will pay for itself in no time!

that would be awesome.. how would that work? would it be liquid cooled?

if you could get it to function without having a ton of wind flowing through it, that would really help when at lower speeds, i`ve noticed this setup only really has a big noticeable effect when at 60-100km/h

I have my filter in the fenderwell. Love the setup, it's nice and cool. If Dom still has the pic he can upload it, I deleted them from the phone and the car is 30 miles away.

No not water cooled, just using the intercooler for a ram air I guess you would call it...
