if its anything like my imp (i have the same grille on my car) there were 2 or 4 push plugs you have to pull out (on either side of the hood latch just above the grille), then the grille just un-snaps from its holder, and snaps back into them.

this happened to mine, decided to just install it and see how it was affected.. they didn't do much but I did give to company a bad score and suggested they add a little packing foam with their product.
