Yes the NGK tr6ix gapped @.035 will do fine for the occasional spray,
with that said though if you plan on spraying often then I would recommend the even cooler plug to start tr7ix gapped @.035 as to cold a plug will only foul/not self clean (a quick inspection of a plug after dd use and after spray use will reveal if they are fouling) If you are using a plug that is too hot... Detonation and/or engine damage can and will occur.

Can I Use Platinum or Iridium Plugs with Nitrous Injection?
Platinum Plugs: There have been instances where the platinum tip has lost its bond to either the center or ground electrode when they were used in a motor with nitrous.
Iridium Plugs: To date, there haven't been any reports of problems using Iridium plugs with a nitrous system, or with a blown alcohol motor.
There is also a warning in my hard manuals from GM here:
The Emission system in this vehicle requires a minimum Iridium Base Spark Plug.
just some food for thought...

NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs are amazing for LS4 cars (NGK-3689)
The 3689's are nice cause they run a tad bit colder also
Platinum plugs are doo doo butter in most built cars it seems, most people seem to use either copper (good for no2) or iridium in race applications

Whats the drifference between the NGK tr5ix, tr55 and tr6ix? I'm looking to change the spark plugs on my 2008 impala ss (97k miles) and I'm researching. But here a lot of people mention tr6ix, while the NGK website recommends tr5ix. Just wondering what the difference isbecause I don't want to put in the wrong ones.
