LS6 spring shift points
Swapping LS6 yellow springs into the car this week along with comp 1.85 roller rockers, keeping pushrods stock for now. Wondering for those guys who run these springs where you move your shift points to after install? , or where can I move them to safely? I've searched around for a previous thread but didn't have any luck.

6200. Redline 6500.
The 5.7 LS6 Zo6 had light weight valves so they could rev a little higher. I would shift 6100-6200 with 1.85's and move the fuel cut off to 6300.
Your still using heavy DOD lifters so don't rev too high!

i would shift at 6200 and have fuel cut at 6400. The problem is though, why shift that high? you wont be making power past 6k.
My shift point is 7k but i have my engine completely built and also have a cam that makes power up there. Even with that, i stop making power at like 6500k.

I'm having the dyno operator do a 1st/2nd gear pull after my header/rr tune changes then I'm going to adjust shift points accordingly. Probably do some repeated timed pulls under as similar of conditions as possible to see how numbers pan out.
