Default Hankook Ventus or Genereal Gmax?

in the market for some new tires, I want all seasons. My 2 choices I have been looking at are the Hankook Ventus V4 AS and General Gmax AS-03. Any experience with either of these tires? I am not concerned about traction at the track or anything like that, more so dry, rain, and snow traction. This car is gonna become my GF's car in march so performance is not really gonna be too much of a concern.

I've hear the Hankook Ventus are good tires for the money, however I guess the treadlife is rather low. As far as the General's, I've never heard anything on them.

I would recommend the Michilan Pilot Sport A/S Plus, however they are stupid expensive.
