Default Lights, Pillars, and Bow Tie. Done!

Head lights and pillars were faded out so spruced them all up. Just have Tint and exhaust left.

Ah nice, that is excatly what I want to do to my headlights. Since I think all the aftermarket headlight options for the Impala stink I wanted to tint eyebrows and the amber reflector just like that. What did you use? I was planning on using the VHT Niteshades and just masking off the area with blue painters tape. I also thought about buying the pre-cut tint film for the headlights and cutting out the area I want tinted. Whatever you did it looks good. I dont want it quite that dark as I want to be able to see a little of the amber reflector.

Looks darker in the pic. I just used vht. They were faded and turning yellow across the top. I just sanded all the factory clear coat off. Then I used pinstripe to lay out my pattern. Then laid my tape out and cut along the pinstripe. Sprayed the vht, peeled the tape off, 3 coats of clear. Wet sanded with 1000 grit, polished with a buffer. Just a temporary fix for me until I can get a new set. Time consuming but a easy weekend project. Post pics when you do yours.

Oh and I find I get a better line using the green tape. FYI.

ok sounds good, thanks for the tips. the stock headlights are actually not that bad looking. what would be great if a company could build stock headlights but have a clear (white) reflector in the corner.

You could always make your own. Split them and make a clear reflector.

I have heard that opening the headlights up can be a real PITA.

Just done with those parts. It's the wife's car so not a whole lot will be done.
