Had some time off today and needed to rotate the tires on the GXP. Decided I would see what the stock GXP 18x8 wheels and the 18x8 silver/black aftermarket wheels I have on the GXP would look like on the Monte Carlo SS.

I really like the aftermarket wheels, seem to really blend well with the silver and tinted windows on the Monte Carlo. I won't leave them on the Monte Carlo as they look good on the GXP which is daily driven, but definitely would consider getting something similar with the silver/black combo on the wheels for the Monte Carlo.

The aftermarkets really set the car off IMO. I do like the stock wheels on a Silver Monte though. Plus you keep the sleeper look with the stockers. Not a fan of theGXP wheels...it just looks off to me.

I had bought these wheel for the Imp but sold them,these are also a nice choice for the monte.I know there a black Imp on here with the black chorme ones(donkss) I think?

Wheels are platnum saber. Jegs sells them. I agree that the gxp wheels do look a little off for some reason.

the black boss wheels look good. OP- I have always loved the stockers and the GXP seem out of place but I'm really digging the aftermarket ones with the silver paint i have the same theme one mine

i like the aftermarket... I'm not really into switching other stock wheels onto cars. always liked the stock MC wheels tho.

I did this and sprayed 3 coats on the inset part of the wheel. Sorry i don't have a photo.

I really like the stock SS wheels with the silver. Makes me wish I got a Monte instead of a GXP...

Need to take some more pics. Boss 328's in black chrome. Had these for two years now, guess i need to look at getting new wheels also - to help the economy!
