Default engine or trans problem

Hey guys. Well the other morning I was on my way to work and on the highway my car was bucking pretty bad felt like its shuddering. So I took it to cotman figuring the trans is bad. They had it for the night and he calls me and said its an engine misfire but the car is showing no codes but on his computer it says it is misfiring. So they changed the plugs and wires but he says its still misfiring. Any ideas?

So I picked my car up today its still missing but it does run alot better. The old plugs looked horrible. The car has a random misfire code and a temp sensor code. But the check engine light is not comming on. Would the temp sensor cause a misfire?

if there is a temp sensor code i would check and see what the temp is reading. if the temp is open or shorted to power that will throw the fuel trims way off. get some more info and let us know

tell gim to pull up misfire data and watch it from there. That was you can pin point where the misfire is.
