Default Fuel question

Just a quick poll i guess to see what gas works best.
87? 89? 91? 87 wit octane booster? and what your getting for milages. I put a tank of 91 in mine and have noticed decent improvement in milage. and what about e10 makes our cars run shitty?

93 in ours. We just got back from a 500 mile trip. 61 MPH average and 25.4 mpg. Not bad on winter blend gas.

I only use premium, between 91-93. Average about 15mpg. I get stuck in traffic often and warm up the car frequently. I have noticed a HUGE increase in mpg by driving 60mph on the highway, but im a 75-** mph kinda guy. Do a lot of bursts for lack of better words. Diddnt buy the car for mpg so could care less. Highly enjoy 60-70 mph down shifts to 2nd @ WOT

I stupidly out of habit from all my other vehicles put in a tank of e10. and i regretted it. the thing would run like hell going up a hill with the cruise on. sadly it didnt click with me until about half tank. then I stopped and put in some 91 and a bottle of octane boost. within 15 mins it was cleared up. no more e10 for me.. I have had several cars that i could run the cheap stuff in since i had my 02 GTP. so i guess i will have to get back in the habit again. what is your opinion on runnin 87 with the octane boost for some money savings? just thinking of options. 91 isnt that popular in my area.

Tune (or tapshift). Also, see here:

I asked a similar question a few months ago and got some good 411 on how ethanol affects our engines. Hope this helps
