Another LS4 escapee
Traded the GXP on a whim yesterday, I picked up a nice '06 GTO A4 Let me just say that I'm going to miss a lot of things about the GXP; head-up display, heated seats, and probably most of all the factory remote start. It has been a fun car and I dont regret buying it, but it was just personally time to move on. Now, with that said, after one drive in the GTO I quickly realized what I've been missing out on.........real power I plan on leaving this car alone for a while, it's fast enough in stock form to keep me smiling. I'll try to get a pick up tomorrow, it's nothing fancy, just a stock GTO "quick-silver" color w/stock 17"s.
I plan on hanging around this forum to lurk and keep up with the latest LS4 news. Well, I just wanted to share!
Joe.

Congratulations! I love the GTOs. I have been eying my LS4 exit for a while but since the car is paid off, it's hard to justify another payment. Someday, hopefully soon...

Nice! Congratulations. Great color!
I just test drove one of these this weekend. Think mine will be gone soon as well. I was absolutely floored by the Speed3's performance. It had full exhaust, CAI, BOV, & tune. Love, Love, Love that BOV sound!

Thanks fellas! I'm already missing the HUD, it's going to take a while to get use to not having it. One mash of the pedal makes me forget all about it though, lol.

Launching!
Very nice car, congrats. Love the hood. Rear wheel drive is the only thing I wish the LS4 had, other than that the 4 doors are needed for my family. In the fall we traded our pos van for a 2007 cobalt ss with stage 2 and exhaust (wifes choice, lol). It was bright red and it had a fantastic detailing job done to it. Only had 42,000 km on it and man is it fast, 270hp!!!
