I want to get her lowered in the Spring. Would the 2.5" 1.5" drop work with the 20s? The OD is less then when I had the Alcoas so I think it should work. After I get the springs the exterior should be done, im not sure if im going to tint the taillights again what do you guys think?

With the right rims you wont need to roll the fenders. I'm lowered on 22 inchers, but only up front. The sound system is too heavy, and if I lower the rear, then it would end up lower than the front.

Oh man it is insane and I love it. My buddy just put in a cam and heads package from LE and once he got it done it took it to get tuned and then has been driving it quite a bit. Never would have thought that the end of jan beginning of feb we'd be able to do that. . .

Yeah the no snow thing is great other then the fact that I do snow plowing as a side job for my buddys company. Hes not too happy about us not getting any snow loll
I know DP had the 1.7" 1.7" drop on his with 20"s but I want to go lower i dont want any wheel gap at all Im all about having the right stance. Everyone that has gotten the 1.7" said they wish they went lower so I think Im just going to take the chance and get the 2.5" worse that could happen is i would have to get a smaller tire or roll the fender.
What do you guys think about tinting the tails though?

I'm lowered on the SSC springs 1.7" F+R, the rear sags a bit and the car rides hard.
I run Lexani LSS-5's in a 20x8.5 +35mm with a 245/40-20 in back and I have to run about 2 degrees of negative camber, I had 245/35-20s before and had the same issue

thanks mel
I like your rims they look clean on the black SS. The GXP ride is horrible stock so lowering it cant get any worse loll im going to get the delcos camber kit 4 should be good enough from what the guys are saying on here.

Thanks man! Yea I just got the Eibach camber bolts but they're all the same. My car rode way better with the stock springs and Bilsteins, once I swapped the springs out it rode terrible. I'd avoid the SSC springs based on my expirence.

Dont the SS's have differnt springs and shocks then the GXPs? The only other choice we have when it comes to lowering it are Eibach springs and EVERYONE says they are horrible on our cars.

Yes I believe the GXPs come with stiffer springs and bilsteins as OEM...the eibachs were discontinued years ago, I think zzp and wbody store have different springs. I thought the eibachs were the best from what I've heard, I just couldn't find them when I lowered my car...I could be wrong on that
