Projectors?

Projectors?
Did some searching but no definitive answer yet!
'08 Impala.. anything better than HID's? I would love projectors, but I don't watch this forum enough to know what you guys drop in your cars. Any good housings, anybody retrofit? If so, what size projectors and how did you go about mounting them?
Thanks!

the aftermarket drop in for the impala and monte are **** **** ****
they use a H3 bulb...a small foglight bulb about the size of the bulb that lights up our license plates. they will fog up eventually too, easy fix but its still annoying and headlights that cost north of 300 dollars should not fog up.
this is the light spread. pretty shitty huh. its decent light output directly to the front..everywhere else is dim
lastly they have pretty shitty QC as well. Alot of guys have reported the adjustment screws dont work when they received them or they strip out easily.
IDK, I guess they look pretty cool when the lights are off, the rings are pretty bright, but they look ricey when theyre on..doesnt really go with my cars. I ditched mine last summer for the stock housings + HIDs.
as for retrofit...I know someone here just did a retro on some GXP housings..

You sir, are my hero. Myself and my family have such a hard time seeing as well as we'd like at night.
THIS is what we need!
I've done engine swaps, electrical, HID's.. but never projectors, and for some reason no matter how many sticky's I read in the lighting faq, they still intimidate me. But I gotta give it a go.
What size & kind of projectors did you use? What bulb/HID kit is in the projector? I'd prefer ones with squirrel finders. Your light output is amazing. Thanks for the responses guys.

Those are morimoto mini (H1's). Extremely easy to mount!
Now if you get the aftermarket Halos, send them my way, and I'll do a projector swap. I'm very capable of retrofitting.
