Default 325 Crossed Flag Emblems

David @ Sleeping Dragon Studios has produced another draft of the soon-to-be-released crossed flag 325 emblems. He's requesting more feedback, so please chime in.

Here are the details:

325 Flag Badge rough cut with color: Other than some welding dimples, this is almost the final design. I have to modify the checkered flags so they cut easier and make the number a little bigger. Colors are (Rust-oleum Automotive Enamel): Primer, Cherry Red, Metal Speck Silver, Auto Gloss White & Engine enamel clear. Size: 7.5"x4". Comments/Questions?

Looks pretty good,to bad its a little to big all around.Design is pretty sweet though, can't wait to see the final product. Mike will it have double sided sticky tape or will you have to drill into the fenders?

Def cool and agreed kinda big for a fender emblem, but would have to see on a car I think, could be wrong.

It will be attached with double-sided tape.

The size is still up in the air, but I believe he can scale it down.

We'll see what David has to say about that.

A touch smaller would be perfect, I like it quite a bit as is though.

Well done so far.

FYI for those who thinks its big.

Mike and Myself discussed this and figured that its roughly the same size as the cross flag impala emblem.

Like this:

Here's another pic so you can get a good idea.

How much smaller if size is an issue. Remember, I know nothing of this industry and am doing this custom for you. What dimensions would work better?

If I can get exact dimensions, that would help a lot.

perhaps look up the crossed flag emblems that were on the ss cars in the 60s to get the right sizing?

Sorry, missed this for a few days. I tried looking up the 60's badging but I didn't find dimensions, and I don't have a 60's musclecar handy

Are the current dimensions still 7.5"x4"?

I think he had some questions that he needed answered before he could go forward:

From the Facebook page:

Specifically need to know: 1. Size OK? Do you all need different sizes? Colors OK? Would you all be interested in hanging Wall Art versions of the badges?

He needs this feedback so he can continue.

1) I can accept the current size, I like the badge enough that I will find a spot for it one way or another.

2) Yes, would look pretty good in my den

Thank you all for the feedback. I've played around to reduce the size a little bit and need to clean up the cutting. The smallest I can do is 7-3/4"x3-1/2" with the current design. I can make it narrower by removing one of the "flaglets" one each side OR scale it down but have to remove checkered design on right flag. NEXT QUESTION: How much would you pay for this size. It is made up of 6 pieces of 16ga. steel.
