Got my car back from having the trans rebuilt and now I can attempt to fix my HIDS.

First off, they are from DDM 55W slim ballasts, 5 or 6k bulbs with their wiring harness.

The problem I have is that I can set my watch to when the left HL will go out. It is approximately 15mins after being on. I'm thinking it could be a ground issue causing the ballast to overheat and shut off?

They work perfectly for the first 15 mins they are on.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

They have a lifetime warranty if you bought them directly from DDM.

 

Most likely a power related issue.
Clean any paint off of where you are trying to ground , add some dielectric grease. Or ground straifht the battery (best option)
