Idk I'm a new gxp owner I know the cars dominate mustangs but I honestly expected this 6.0 awd trailblazer to beat me

 

The TBSS will run similiar to our cars bone stock. There 5000+ lb SUVs and are as aerodynamic as a brick, but respond to mods very well.

Our cars do not dominate mustangs...

 

Seen a tb ss run 13.9 stock. As for Mustangs, in the same year range as your car, they run anywhere from 13.8 to 14.2.

 

I've only lost to one mustang it was a 02 mild cam headers full exaughst cai and he didn't pAss me until 80 from a 30 roll raced the TB from a dig he pulled me to around 55 then I passed him

Haha I can see if he will run again I know the mustang will but my gxp is going to get the tranny built and a shift kit next week so it may be awhile

 

Yeah I raced a coworker of mines TB SS. Went from 0-60 and got about a length on him. I did have the advantage though because he had no clue what a GXP was and I knew he wouldn't be an easy win

 

I hate mustangs too...rwd, v8, solid axle, manual, not 4k lbs...I don't know why there so popular lol

Yeah...I never used to be a fan but have been really impressed with my buddies stangs.
Bolt on 02 slicks/skinnies went 12.81@105 with a 1.61 60' (no suspension mods) this car might make 270 whp
Procharged 04 went 12.80@115 with a 2.35 60' (street tires)
And it's the only "muscle" car left with a solid axle and under 4k lbs.

I would trade my car in for a new 5.0 in a heartbeat. With just a tune, tires, and driver mod, they will run 12.4 or better at 113-115.
I have seen two of them do it.
All of the other mustangs can kiss my ***.

I know I could get a 98-02 f body and run 12's with just a few mods, but they don't look right to me. I am not a fan of the long doors, hatch back, and van style engine compartment. I also HATE old school GM dashes and big buttons.
The GXP looks so dam mean! Fwd and lack of aftermarket support, is our cars downfall. Out of the box it's dam impressive.

As posted above, we do not dominant Mustangs. TBSS is a good match without mods. I raced on with a turbo who trapped 116mph. A Cam only f-body can do that easily.

When street racing anything goes, a win is a win.

 

^^ gxp mean looking? I don't see it. But then again I've never really seen many in person that wasn't stock looking

My "ford probe" is more mean looking than a gxp. All I did was state my opinion when I read that statement. No need to get butt hurt and diss my "camaro z28" that happens to have a ls1 on a ls1 based website titled "ls1tech". Didn't mean to offend anyone

We are just used to taking a *** kicking from other non-LS4 owners.

 

Just givin you a lil **** in the LS4 section of LS1 tech. Your sig pic is a little stretched, makin it look a little like a Probe. Not to many cars can pull off white, and while yours does look sharp with the hockey stripe. I do think my GXP pulls it off a lil better.
