Question Plug wire problem
I have some large wires and only the front I have a problem with. In the pix you can see that I can't adjust them and they started melting on my dt's. You can see how I bent the coolant pipes a bit so the actual silicone wouldn't touch. Anyone have a sharp idea on how to fix this!!!

Possibly exhaust wrap? Idk if it would keep it cool enough to keep from melting silicone, but really cuts down the heat produced!

I have some but would it be ok just the wrap that specific area, I don't want to wrap the whole header

It wouldn't hurt anything to double wrap just where its needed.

I dont see anything wrong with wrapping just that section. Just be sure to wrap it really tight since your not wrapping all of it, and it shouldn't cause you any problems.

I fixed my problem by n***a rigging the wires zip-tied to coolant pipes to hold them couple cm from the headers. It pulls way harder with the new autolites like all my lost hp is rejuvenated.

Buy the taylor cable kevlar boots. They come in red etc too.

Those wires look different. Maybe they wouldn't fit.
