Congrats on the new vehicle. I've always liked the tbss.

On a side note: now you have 2 vehicles that you have to worry about the transmission

I searched and found the AWD model, As this will be driven year round. Currently has blizzaks all the way around and hooks in the hurricane.

Being AWD my opinion thus far is, tbss will smoke my GXP off the line but 1/4 mile should be roughly the same. And the awd would most likely get smoked on a highway pull.

Came with a Corsa cat back, and sounds amazing. No big plans for it. Use it to haul *** when im on my own, and kids and groceries when its time to be a responsible parent. 3 kids in the GXP wasnt working, and i havent driven it through a winter yet.

Will deff check out the forum's as i need to find a wiring diagram for it. Fully loaded with dvd, nav,etc... no remote start (wtf)

I dont think the trans issue is anything close to what we expierience here? but its still unknown territory. Plus side is its not jammed in there sideways so replacing it should be a lot more feasable in a garage if need be.

I've heard rumors of snow shovels being used to pick the pieces off the track.

I love mine, not as much as the G8 tho, but I like all of the cargo space.

They may not be as bad, but there's a thread listing the top 30 common failures/symptoms:

http://www.tbssowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50018

Atleast the 4l80 swap has got pretty common I do believe, so atleast there's an upgrade. A 4l60 behind a ls2 in a 5000 lb SUV can never be a good idea.
