Placement of cutout
Placement of cutout So i was thinking of putting a electric cutout on my car. I currently have a cat less hogan DP and a magnaflow exhaust attached to it.
Where would be the best place to put it? I was thinking cutting into the DP and placing it either after or before the bend.

Definately want it after the cat, before it you will really screw with your fueling even if you had a special tune written for when it was open it would most likely leak and cause false readings while closed.
i put mine right before the cat on my stock pipe, no idea how to show you on yours lol but its pretty much facing at a 45ish degree towards the front, i figured might as well let it have a 'little' back pressure lmfao but who am i kidding... also i got a custom tune from lew to remove the rev limiter and so the check engine light wouldnt pop up for the o2

It was ticking at 4k+ rpms and the wrap petty much silenced it, and also to keep the heat in.
