trans leak
trans leak I just finished swapping a LS4/4t653dh into my Lambo Diablo kit car. The transmission has a leak right where the cooler line goes into the trans. Is there a O-ring or something in there?
It just had a little drip at first, then I tightened the fitting about a 1/4 turn and now its leaking really bad. I used the factory lines to an external cooler/fan but never took off the trans hoses off when I did the swap so I have no idea how the fitting is sealed. I would like to know what I need to fix it before I take off the hose.

Yes. Move the plastic cover off the end of the line. You will reveal the e clip. Use an oring tool to pull the clip. Pull the line out. I believe its a 19 mm wrench to unscrew the fitting. They're around 30 bucks from the dealer.
Here is a pic of where its leaking-
I run a shop so I used an oring from a fuel line repair kit. The oring is inside fitting. But they don't sell juat the oring. Maybe go to your local parts store and buy an oring assortment. Much cheaper than buying the new fitting
