Default Getting closer....suggestions>

I've been gathering parts for my MCSS for a while now. Havnen't been on this site for a while now so not up to date on the latest mods. Open for suggestions so please give me some input.

Here's what I've collected so far:
1.8 roller rockers
Yellow springs
DT headers
Hogan catless DP
3" electric cutout
Diablo Trinity
Plugs and wires from the ClubPlug group buy a year or so ago

Found a LS6 intake with injectors and fuel rail for $400
Been reading on the MAF mod, Guess I need more info on this one.
Will have to figure out a throttle body change or adaptor. Advice?

Would love to do a cam swap and eleminate the DOD, but with only 50,000 miles I hate to tear it down that far.

Trans has been rebuilt (twice) with an Overkill tune, gears, and TEP components the second time.

Think this should be a good start.

I'm cammed at 39k miles but that's a different story. DoD delete isn't too hard. I removed all the physical components with the engine still in the car. I just took a good few days to do it making sure everything was clean.

Thanks 91ParkAve. I've read your MAF writeup. That's what got me thinking I shoudld change the MAF while I'm at it. Worried about making too many changes at once. Think it may be a handful for the tuner. Wish it were a 12v ref sensor instead of a 5v. We're throwing out a bunch of new 12v MAFs at work because we switched to 5v. Coulda gotten one for free. I may pick your brain when it comes to that change.

IMPSS07 - Why do you say ditch the DP? Like I said it's been a while since I've been on here, but when I was the headers and DP were the popular mods.

Because the headers have their own downpipe and you'll have to cut up your own downpipe to make it work. It's much easier and cheaper just to put some straight pipe in and go from there.

lVloses, what all did you have to change to do the cam swap? Obviously the cam and lifters, but wondering what else?

Timing chain, lifters, rockers, switched the cam gear from a 1 bolt to 3 bolt, and push rods I believe. But I also did it the same time I did my heads. And then you have all the various gaskets and such.
