LS4 drivetrain swap complete~
LS4 drivetrain swap complete~ I finally completed my LS4 drivetrain swap into my Lambo Diablo kit car. The LS4 is all stock (for now) except the LQ4 intake, throttlebody, and injectors. The LS4 runs on Microsquirt, the trans runs on a magnashift stand alone. Its shifted via a wireless paddle shifters.
I had a couple snags along the way that delayed this project a few weeks. First I was sold the wrong resistors to mod the Microsquirt. Figured that out 3 weeks later, then apparently the stand alone trans controller didnt like sharing the same MAP wiring, but its all good now. I could not have completed this project without the help of people on this forum like- Denmah, Atomic6, kemp3, AKnovaman, Fieroguru and others. Although Im still need to do a little more street tuning its running really good now. I have a dyno appointment on May 9th so maybe by then it will be 100%....
Its still dirty from the swap, I will be cleaning it up soon and do a video maybe-

Truck intake has the best HP/Torque curve - only short 1 or 2 HP at peak from LS6, but better everywhere else under the curve. I'm using one as well - really helps they are cheap !!

Thats very interesting. What year model truck intakes you talking about?

As mentioned they flow pretty good but more important (to me) no mods needed to fit the intake to the motor, plus I have 2 intakes/throttle bodys/injectors already.
And because this is in the back of a Lambo Diablo Kit car it fits with room to spare with the truck intake.
