I've been all over these forums for many hours reading threads about upgrades. The only modification I've made so far is Cat back Magnaflow exhaust. Fairly new to wanting to drive anything but stock, thought when I bought my 2008 GP GXP about a month ago that I was fine with stock. But When you're 23 and you feel the car put you back in your seat the first time you simply want more. I've gather that, K&N CAI is a decent buy, Doing CAMSs is good, headers, intake manifold, mass air flow sensor, throttle body, 1.8 rr. So I have a list of upgrades to make. What I'm asking for if it's not too much trouble is The parts to use for the upgrades. I would like my CAM to make the car more lopey. I'm going to be putting MICHELIN TIRES - PILOT SUPER SPORT 225/50ZR18 XL tires on. I read that if I make these upgrades that I will probably want to change the injectors. Also I'd prefer to get all the parts and put them all in at once while the engine is out so if there's any other mods you suggest while I have it out please don't hesitate to include them. Like I mentioned before I'm very new to this. I will however have a very very certified GM mechanic working with me. He's been working at a GM dealer ship for 24 years. So I won't have any trouble with the installs. Only with knowing what to install. Turbo further down the road, but not right now.

Wondering why you want a low LSA cam. My cam is 114LSA and on stock gears I have no power below 2.5k basically. That's also with 11.2:1 CR. My mileage dropped 3mpg's going from stock engine w/ headers and LS6 intake manifold to H/C combo. I would not want to see what your mileage would look like lol.
I'm running the LS6 injectors that came with my manifold and am not making enough power to max them out. However if you do go turbo, you will probably want injectors as well as a new fuel pump depending on how wild you wanna go with it. And if you're doing a cam swap there's probably no need for 1.8rr's.
While you have the engine out I would do a full DoD delete (which you have to do anyway when swapping cams). I would also switch heads now if you're planning on a head swap. Lastly it's also a good time to pull the tranny out and get a TEP built tranny.
Now if you're sure you're going to go turbo eventually I would not waste any money on the CAI or headers as you will have to get rid of them for the turbo. But if you decide not to go turbo I'd get yourself a set of 205cc TFS heads. It will raise your compression to about 11:1 and flow much better than your stock heads. Then either have Pat G spec you a cam or buy an off-the-shelf cam made for these heads.
If you do a cam swap, you don't want or need the 1.8 ratio rockers. You do need better valve springs and hardened pushrods though. I see no mention of a tune.
