That was my gripe with the thorleys as there not much better. I've been wanting to put on another true collector to weld in but that's another day another story . here's the pics of dt's for comparison

There's a $70 price difference between these and the DT and those come ceramic coated.

The crossover might not interfere with the throttle body as much, but overall they look smaller. Probably the crap calspeed was talking about "making."

They would probably accept like a 350 offer. Maybe less.

Did anyone get these yet?

These really need to be in the $350 (shipped) range.

You show me one stock ls4 that these headers are a direct bolt on no modification required item. Talk about false advertising. You tell me how I am supposed to connect those headers to my existing exhaust system without doing some welding to get the downpipe connected.

I get that you pay some decent amount of money for headers. But seriously to weld your headers to your factory system is not a complicated job my shop charged me 20bucks.

i think thats going to be the case with almost all headers that come with a y-pipe or down pipe.
car manufactures dont really have the catalytic converters in an area where they bolt in... that would make them to easy to unbolt and take off

I get that and it's not a big deal. The point was that it's false advertising and they are selling the false hope to people that they will be able to simply unbolt their manifolds and drop in the headers without any mods. It specifically states no modification required. This is a blatant lie.

And I get that. But the headers should be advertised as such and not advertised as a bolt in no modification required item. Having to do the modification is not the issue, it is the fact that they are lieing.

I suppose you can cut the downpipe and use a band clamp since the end looks expanded.
