tighten gas cap
Its the evap purge canister going up. Its sensing a evap system leak. Jack the car up take the wheel next to the gas cap off. Remove fender liner you will see a black plastic canister with 2 plastic lines going one way and one going another and a harness. The lines are quick disconnects and I believe one bolt holds it in. The part cost 40 bucks from the dealer. Take 30 minutes tops. Evap canister..not purge solenoid
Mine started throwing the evap code, I thought it was the gas cap, replaced it with one from Oreily and the code did not go away, took it to dealer, they replaced the gas cap with a AC Delco and code went away. just my .02. Also, to get it tight its at least 4 clicks, I used to only do one.
