ls4 durability

are they famous for any particular problems, I heard the trans but v8 fwd I'm not surprised. im looking for a nice 4 dr DD

Oil consumption due to DoD but can tune that out. Also motor mounts are weak and rear main seal are a issue

I heard these LS4s can get you banned from the street. Be careful with that.

Yea youll be streetbanned but your ls4 has to be a bucket for u to qualify!!!

The engine itself? Pretty reliable except for the dod related hardware the intake manifold is also trash.as for the trans its a little more involved depending on your experience and skill

Yup, however you just want to take off the front bumper to properly mount and secure your trans cooler. Unless you wana fiddle with taking off the whole hood latch assemble etc..

these engines are durable, I have been running 125 shot of nitrous for a few months maybe 5-6 bottles and no problems

I love them its a huge upgrade from stock, if you are gonan get a tune get it from Diablew and get a trinity hand held for the hardware. Diablew knows his stuff, he is very helpful and very personable in his e-mails
