Default anti fouler trick

Might have to try this little trick, putting spark plug anti foulers on my o2sensor to stop my cel from coming on due to the hi flow cat. Ill post pics if it works. Damn inspection time.

Everytime you clear the code you also reset the readiness test...it takes more than 15 miles to re-do the rediness for all pass!
I also doubt the anti foulers will work. What tuner do you have?
There is more than a hi flo cat at work there (judging by the posted pics of your rear bumper) she is hurtin in the fuelin department!

Great. Cuz when i turn the cel off, it comes right back in literally 15 miles. Never had a cel til i installed the dp last year. Ever since i installed it, i have the cel i keep turning off. Only thing more i have done besides the cat is the dp, res delete and super 44's(exhaust wise). But like i said, once installed the do is when the cel all started bc the cat

yeah, you can clear the code, but that doesn't disable it... not gonna work with that tool you have.. you need to get a custom tune done so the code can be DISABLED and then you'd be fine... need a diablo tool to get custom tuning done

Haha yup, i just talked to u the other day bout goin to you for my tune. Tax return and ur the first person on my mind haha. So i did the anti fouler install a little bit ago, could only fit 1 fouler on there bc the floor gets in the way of the o2 sensor with both foulers on. I turned my cel light off. DROve 23 miles to work so far no cel but we will see. If it pops back on im gonna have to figure a way to get that 2nd fouler to fit on. My inspection is passed due and i gotta ticket 2 days ago. So this needs to work or im SOL

You are not trying to do a trim re-learn to pass the Readiness test for your emissions.

You need to complete this:

A complete driving cycle should perform diagnostics on all systems. A complete driving cycle can be done in under fifteen minutes.

To perform an OBDII Driving cycle do the following:
•Cold Start. In order to be classified as a cold start the engine coolant temperature must be below 50°C (122°F) and within 6°C (11°F) of the ambient air temperature at startup. Do not leave the key on prior to the cold start or the heated oxygen sensor diagnostic may not run.

2.Idle. The engine must be run for two and a half minutes with the air conditioner on and rear defroster on. The more electrical load you can apply the better. This will test the O2 heater, Passive Air, Purge "No Flow", Misfire and if closed loop is achieved, Fuel Trim.

3.Accelerate. Turn off the air conditioner and all the other loads and apply half throttle until 88km/hr (55mph) is reached. During this time the Misfire, Fuel Trim, and Purge Flow diagnostics will be performed.

4.Hold Steady Speed. Hold a steady speed of 88km/hr (55mph) for 3 minutes. During this time the O2 response, air Intrusive, EGR, Purge, Misfire, and Fuel Trim diagnostics will be performed.

5.Decelerate. Let off the accelerator pedal. Do not shift, touch the brake or clutch. It is important to let the vehicle coast along gradually slowing down to 32km/hr (20 mph). During this time the EGR, Purge and Fuel Trim diagnostics will be performed.

6.Accelerate. Accelerate at 3/4 throttle until 88-96 km/hr (55-60mph). This will perform the same diagnostics as in step 3.

7.Hold Steady Speed. Hold a steady speed of 88km/hr (55mph) for five minutes. During this time, in addition to the diagnostics performed in step 4, the catalyst monitor diagnostics will be performed. If the catalyst is marginal or the battery has been disconnected, it may take 5 complete driving cycles to determine the state of the catalyst.

8.Decelerate. This will perform the same diagnostics as in step 5. Again, don't press the clutch or brakes or shift gears.
