Wd40 worked for my clunk, if I opened the trunk and put weight on the back bumper I could get it to clunk. Sound came from inside the trunk not underneath the car.

That's good to hear, I'll give it a shot.

Does anyone else notice their back shock dust boots are not attached on the bottom? Like mine can be freely lifted up...

I hosed the shock with WD40... still a slight clunk. i pointed it down and tried to get the bottom of it lifting up the dust boot but it is hard to see in there exactly where I need to shoot it.

I guess I'll just have to take it to the shop and have them look at it for a lot longer.
