questions?? I'm thinking about upgrading but never dabbled into this...
What is all need for what I wanna do?
I want to replace rockers and springs, rods, lifters, and anything else while I'm in there.
Heres my over all plan... I want a better than stock engine but I'm not looking for my GXP to be a drag only car. Its my DD and I just want to go wot or show off from time to time and not worry. I've dealt with comp cams in previous car and loved the quality in my lt1. So will I see same results or look into others?
The cars has 112k all org. I do plan on the top trans when this ones goes with a shift kit as well as a tune when I'm all done. So any info or a point in right direction will be amazing!

Do a search for DavidGXP threads - he did just about everything, cams, heads, intakes, headers, etc. Bang for the buck is an LS6 intake, headers/exhaust and a custom tune. Cam swaps are a pain because you have to drop the motor.
Also, if you trans is built right you don't need and shouldn't use a shift kit!
