Default p0455

anyone have a p0455 code and not have to replace the evap canister lol. its not my gas cap. anyway of testing besides having someone gas it?

i was wondering how to figure out if its the purge or vent solenoid, or the canister,

Many of times it is the canister. 15 minute job and there is a revised part available from gm. Old style has a round cylinder canister and the revised is more of a flat box. It can be reached from the driver side wheel well under the filler door. Also keep in mind that aftermarket gas caps are more **** than the mg ones. Get a gm cap if you don't already have one, and if the code comes back do the canister. 9 out of 10 times it's one of those two things. Don't wast $ on a smoke test.

did u hook up the vacum line up i had the same code after my swap but i didnt hook the solinoid up

ya i double checked that lol. btw, any ideas on why im running so rich after it? is it because the bigger injectors havent been scaled down yet in a tune? or did i do somethign wrong

More air flow readacross the MAF the richer it will turn the a/f ratio
