Default Bilstein Shocks - Unavailable

Anyone know of any good alternative Bilstein shocks that would be considered "HD" or "performance" , The ones that are in the sticky are no where to be found or say Unavailable....

I also noticed someone posted a part number for instance

35-153153

These are also no where to be found. If anyone has any info would be much appreciated , Thanks.

AFter doing some research i've discovered that the bilstiens flat out are not available.... YOu can find them on a few sites but they are way overpriced , 500 dollar.....

The part number listed for the FE4 is really not FE4 its FE1/2 and even on GMpartdirect's site they use FE1/2 Struts for LS/LT/SS

However i have found that the 02monte carlo up to 07 can use the same type of strut " for the most part" For some reason you can use the 2006 strut on a 02 monte carlo , but you cannot use a 02 strut on a 06 for whatever reason even tho they look exactly the same.

I found a AGX adjustable strut that was intened for a 02 monte carlo however the same strut that you can use on a 06 monte carlo says it wil Fit a 02 so theortically there should be no diffrence.

So this KYB AGX strut is adjustable....

FRONT

I'm not going to buy anything off of rock auto or gmpartsdirect as they list the same model number for all variants of the monte carlo and no telling what these really are.
and autoanything list some garbage struts that i've never heard of before.

Any W-body 97-Later are all interchangeable. No matter if its a grand prix, regal, impala, montecarlo....

the only thing you need to look at is weather your sway bar attaches to the control arm or strut.

Regardless you can convert back to control arm mounted sway bar setup with the desired shocks by simply getting control arms and sway bar and endlinks plus the sturs you want. Easy pesy

That is because of the sway bar mounts. 02 is in the control arm and 04+ mounts in the strut. I have GXP bilsteins and put in new control arms to mount the sway bar.
