Transmission Time! Finally joining the transmission club!! 
It went in a big way last night while pulling out of a parking lot, I have a bunch of neutrals now. When they break they break hard!
Looking into my options...anyone know the lead time on a street built HPS1 TEP Trans?

My Build was almost 2 months , but mine was full flown everything. According to Dave a majority of the delay was the precision torque Converter , there was an error in understanding about shipment dates ect.
Took mine months too for the same thing basically, all the bells and whistles to put down lots of power.
My advice- Buy the rebuild parts (valve body,input shaft,chain,clutches/steels,servo,converter,ect) from TEP and find the best trans builder near you and have it done local.....
Mine took 3 months but I had some cyro treating done and a custom converter so it took a little longer. I still havnt put the trans back in yet due to the holidays and alot of other things going on right now...

I am having trouble finding a place in my area that will rebuild the transmission. I was originally thinking about buying the parts and going the rebuild route.
Everyone around here wants to replace them with a new transmission instead of rebuilding due to their bad experiences with the LS4/4T65e-HD combo.
I was quoted $3200 for a new transmission with install from a place I trust locally but I didn't go into detail about where they get them from.

Far as the trans builder, he's in North Florida but unfortunately he's not wanting to ship transmissions at the moment.

yeah add me on too, she's at around 70,500 miles,.....SMH! starting clunking after revs, then on a low cruise, punching the gas you'll feel a very bad shudder, and on the way to work on Thursday, slipping horribly! :-(
I have been having the rev clunk for quite some time, very random but I know the trans will need to replaced in the future. Thinking about a Seafoam trans treatment, running these (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-SUPER-STRONG-1-5-inch-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-Cup-Magnets-1-1-2-120lbs-Force-/121486877643?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c492ea3cb ) super strong magnets on the outside of the pan for a couple hundred miles then doing a fluid and filter change. Not expecting a miracle, just wondering if anyone thinks these might be too strong and could it possibly help with the converter releif valve that i read is a constant problem in these transmissions? Thanks in advance for any input.
