Default questions about LS4 engine

I want to know if a stroker kit from another LS motor will go into this block. also, are these siamese cylinder walls in the block. how big can you bore? I am trying to see if it will be a suitable jet boat motor. can I get a bell housing that will allow me to bolt a starter on it?

Dont waste the time then if youre gonna bore and stroke when you could just grab a 6.0 truck motor and make more power

already have a 6.0 with turbo in a boat but its iron block. also have alum 5.7 with turbo in another. just lookin for a way to get a cheaper alum block motor. and do a stroker so maybe I can use NOS instead of turbo.

The ls4 in particular has a metroc 60 degree bell housing on the block with no starter provision unlike the rest kf the ls motor family

so, does the tranny have a removable bell housing or one that could be sawed off to make a starter mount? and, will a stroker crank go into the block? who could I ask who knows these motors? I hate to go and buy one just to see if I can figure out whether or not I can make it work.

The LS4 stock crank is 10mm short on the snout and 3mm short on the flexplate side compared to a normal LS crank.

As mentioned the starter is transmission mounted and the bellhousing is the metric pattern.

The block itself as most aluminum blocks do...has cast in liners which can't be bored out a whole lot...
