Ok I'll get them up ins said car worth 8200 but damage was 6900 which is 78.3 percent and it can't be over 75 percent 25 ******* years with State Farm and they did that that's alright with that kind of damage I know I'm hurt I'm gonna try to settle with them tues befor orthopedic and lawyer appts

the ins said car is actually worth 5850 but car was in such good condition they upped it 8540 minus 2,400 for salvage,luckily my buddy own junkyard and has the airbag system that he is giving me because ins won't put used components in so ill save about 800 there so for6 grand i can fix it another friend is the head bout man at chevy dealership so he gonna put it in there and do it on weekends,so if i get that hood sink ill pay u and give u address to dealer to ship it to

thanks spawne but i am 3% away from total % and i got 25 years with this co and they can't swing 3%? i am just pissed,would rather have car fixed,they don't have to give me nothing just give ir to shop,i mean i can do it but that means i got to run around and get parts and salvage title and all that stuff,rather they just fix it
Man that sucks! The hood crunched up real good...
My bud runs a repair shop in S FL and regularly works with the insurance people to not total out a car if that's what the owner wants. They have a dollar amount they'll pay and not total it and the rest is on the owner, so then they'll go for used parts to make up difference. Might be worth discussing with your insurance person, but then again maybe MD has different rules.

YEA IM JUST GONNA take the money minus salvage and rebuild ergot all the parts ready to order waiting on ck took me 4 hours to research all this stuff-labor 1350,eBay 1450,amazon1300,carid190 my buddy at salvage yard 100 for all the airbag stuff 2nd design whatever that means so =4255 to fix ins check is 6118,so i will get a couple of goodies new 3" exhaust and downpipes plus motor mounts from x11 if he still has them,and then manifold and tb on and thats it so its ok just have to get salvage title and my buddy inspect car and then rebuilt title so md can make their money
