Default abs module

anyone know what abs module i need?

ACDELCO 19151369 {#19121323} GM Original Equipment Electronic Brake

i was going to remove mine and send it out to be repaired but i just dont have time so i was going to order one from rockauto. i dont see anything about jl4 in my vin so i assume i dont need that one but want to be sure.

15227099 i believe is the one your looking for but they are hella pricey, id highly recommend looking for a junkyard solution or getting yours repaired.

as far as I know the RPO code for our brake setup on the GXP is JL9

I am pretty sure the car can still be driven when the module is removed, someone in the know should chime in and confirm. These are too much money to buy new, I would consider a repaired one as Spawne32 has suggested.

yes you can drive it without the module, there are torx screws on the front of the module that allow you to remove it from the ABS pump. You just have to be careful because they dont give you alot of room to remove it and not damage the magnets on the back.

they arent too bad on rock auto for a reman one. 330ish with a 50 dollar core.


but the 160 does seem better for a rebuild.

yeh thats the one, although he didnt have our PN listed but it is a bosch 5.3 module, he didnt have any issue with mine.
