I think so. I used high level inputs from the rear speakers. As long as the powered sub or amp you use can take them it's simple. If not, you can buy an adapter to convert the signal. Otherwise, it's just the usual power, ground, remote wires.

Check out the jl powered 8 in box I have installed a bunch and there are very impressive sounds more like a 12. You can grab high level right out of the monsoon amp from the sub out but for better sound you can grab front door woofers signal because it has a better crossover slop

got a better price on it though.
amps right under by the rear speakers correct? not sure i want to go through the trouble of running wire through the door if pulling it from the rear still sounds good.

I use the remote wire on that goes to the factory amp. I just tapped in to that and ran it to my subs' amp.

Yes. Tapped it at the stock amp pretty much then ran my 2 feet of wire or whatever it was to my subs' amp.

That is not the correct way to do it...You really need to run a dedicated power wire from the battery to the amplifier. Active or Powered is essentially the same thing other then the amp is built into the box with powered.

i think he was referring to the single wire to tell the amp to turn on or off.

anyway i couldnt figure out what wire to use and when i tried to use the sun roof wire someone used on here it the amp stayed on. so i just used the feature that turns the amp on when it gets a signal from the speakers.
