Default Grand Prix GXP - Spare Tire Part #

What is the part number that will fit the front brakes on a GXP? What jack kit have you all used?

I know you have to get a wheel from another vehicle, because these did not come with a spare.

Thank you.

I had to due some digging, but it appears that this is the part number:

OEM 5 spoke 17" Aluminum Temporary Spare found in newer GM vehicles. Size as follows T125/70 R17. OEM part no. 9594807.

VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY

2008-2011 Buick Lucerne

2006-2011 Cadillac DTS

2005 Cadillac STS

2012-2014 Chevrolet Impala

2004-2005 Pontiac Bonneville GXP

Does the wheel fit the front as well, or just the rear? The calipers on the front are larger and the GXP has 18" wheels. Have you fit it on your GXP on the front?

When I was looking for a spare the article I found showed a picture of the rim on the front clearing the calipers, any compatible rim should clear the back. I never tried it to be honest, I have never gotten a flat in mine in 8 years knock on wood. I don't think it fits in the spare tire well once the compressor is removed either, but its been awhile so I could be mistaken. With so many vehicles having this spare it should be easy to locate, its really an impressive looking spare.

FYI, for those searching later I got the referenced: 9594807 part number

It definitely does not fit in the wheel well of an '08 GXP, so I lost some trunk space - oh well.
