But I hear there's lots of problems with the trans and the DoD. Is it a car I should stay away from now?? What are the common problems?? Thanks.

 

trannys are a week link and problematic. dod tends to burn oil i want to have mine shutoff and see if it helps. nice thing in northeast is its fwd and ok in snow. i would take the problems into consideration with how much you pay for the car.

 

Buy a prebuilt one for a few extra thousand and then you don't have to worry about any issues. Mine's for sale currently, makes 400whp NA with corn and has a built transmission.
