Cold Air Intake Hey guys! New to this forum and the LS4 nation.. Just bought my '06 Monte Carlo SS 2 months ago and have been thinking about putting in a K&N 63-3059 Performance Air Intake system for more HP, torque etc. I love and know my cars, but I'm definitely not knowledgeable enough to figure out performance upgrades on my own! So, would that be smart to install with my exhaust system having the Flowmaster 40 series installed as well already? Just wondering if that would all work together alright. Thank you in advance! Sorry if it's a dumb question! Better to be safe than sorry!

Best cold air intake is from Cold Air Inductions... I had a 2006 Monte Carlo SS myself for 8 years, 145,000 miles...
the best cold air intake there is out there, by Cold Air Inductions, Inc. They have enclosed, insulated air boxes to keep out engine bay heat, ceramic coated intake tubes to reduce/eliminate heat soak, etc. You can check it out here http://cai.diablewtune.com and just select your vehicle from the drop-down list to get the info/details about the model to order for your particular vehicle.
I have used their intakes for 9+ years on my own vehicles (2006 Monte Carlo SS, 2012 GMC Sierra, 2014 Camaro SS), and their build quality is 2nd to none... their products always fit like a glove, and it's not cheap plastic stuff like others are... Improves throttle response, acceleration, etc.

Save the money; get a 3" ZZPerformance downpipe and dyno tune. ZZPerformance, who makes intakes, confirmed that the stock air box with a K&N drop in flows more than enough air. Our air box is already drawing the coldest air you're going to safely get, right behind the drivers headlight.
