I have an auxiliary power plug in my car (cigarette lighter port) that is always on. it is my understanding that in some cars this can be changed from "always on" to "on while cars is running". this is acheived by changing the location on the fuse from one slot in the fuse box to another. is this possible with my 2004 Monte Carlo LS?

 

I think you should just wire in a switch and add it to your dash or console. Switches are cool.
